Michael Towsey
Michael is by training a biologist and computer scientist. He combines both interests in a research position at Queensland University of Technology where he analyses audio recordings of the natural environment and fauna. Michael volunteered for a position on the board because he believes in keeping money local and in a strong not-for-profit sector. The MCU has an important role in promoting both those objectives. I appreciate the Maleny community's enthusiasm to keep the MCU an independent, vibrant, local institution.
