Maleny Credit Union Members’ Elects New Director
November 2008
On the 22nd November 2008, the Maleny Credit Union held its 24th Annual General Meeting at the Old School House in Witta, attended by some 40 members, guests and industry representatives.
At this meeting, Nathan Arrowsmith was elected by the credit union’s members to become a director of Maleny Credit Union.
Nathan brings to the board a strong background in Small Business Management and Information Technology. Since 2003, he has been owner and manager of Arrowsmith Websites, a business specialising in assisting businesses both locally and throughout Australia to create and manage an effective internet presence.
Nathan is also actively involved in our local community, where he is a member of the Maleny Chamber of Commerce.
Director John Duthie was re-elected at this meeting for a further term of 3 years.
Also our members farewelled three of its directors who concluded their services on the credit union’s board of directors at this meeting; Donald Woolard, Carolyn Williams and Robyn Grivell.
The credit union’s chief executive Greg Stevens said, “these three directors made numerous & significant contributions to the development of the credit union.”
