Savings Account

MCU has a Savings Account to cater for members day to day banking requirements. There is no minimum balance requirement. This account can have access to various additional features like a VISA Debit Card, cheque book, periodical payments, Direct Debits and, if arranged, overdrafts. For an "at call" account, it attracts a competitive interest rate on credit balances.

Interest Rate: 0.10% p.a.

Membership Activity Fee is $2.50 per month and charged only on memberships that have had over the counter transaction activity.

VISA Debit Card Fee is $4.50 per month and charged on memberships that have a VISA Debit Card on issue. Cardholders will not incur the Membership Activity Fee.
